Based in South Florida, we were founded in 1997, and have over 1,000 clients throughout the United States and internationally. WhiteOwl is the technology affiliate of MBAF, a top-40 CPA and consulting firm.

Position Summary

Our PaperSave professional services organization, a part of WhiteOwl and the MBAF accounting firm, delivers document management and workflow solutions to small and medium sized North American and international businesses and foundations. These solutions are delivered as stand-alone applications or are tightly integrated with some of the more prevalent ERP, financial systems, and CRM environments on the market.

We are seeking a highly motivated, recent college graduate to be a technical consultant in our professional services organization based in our corporate headquarters in Coral Gables, FL. In return, we will provide you the opportunity to grow your technical skills and business knowledge helping clients make their operations more efficient and effective.


The primary responsibility of the technical consultant is to design, develop, and test complex workflow configurations and customizations for both on premise and Cloud implementations.  In addition, the technical consultant will

  • Install the PaperSave product and application for on premise clients.
  • Design, develop, and test customizations using JavaScript and SQL
  • Documentation for
    • Completed configurations and customizations
    • Best practices to share with colleagues
  • Support
    • Triage and resolve configuration and customization defects
    • Triage and provide guidance on identified product defects
  • Participate in sales and project-related discussions with clients and colleagues
    • Customization approaches and estimates
    • Interactions with prospects and clients

Qualifications and Requirements

The technical consultant needs to bridge business requirements with technology to fulfill client requirements. The technical consultant will have

  • A bachelorā€™s degree (computer science, information management, etc.) from an accredited college or university
  • One to two years of experience working for a technology consulting firm or organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent English
  • Working knowledge of two of the following:
    • JavaScripting
    • SQL
    • Operating systems, data communications, and networking
    • Web development
  • Experience with Internet technologies and delivery models including cloud and SaaS
  • Knowledge of ERP and financial applications, e.g., Microsoft GP and SL, Blackbaud FE and RE, and/or Intacct is a plus
