Our services include business process consulting, application (ERP, CRM, etc.) implementation, custom software, cloud and virtualization services, managed and virtual CIO services, and business continuity and security consulting.

WhiteOwl is also the developer and implementer of PaperSave®, a cloud-based document management, workflow, and transaction automation software product. In addition, we are resellers and partners for Microsoft, Intacct, and Blackbaud technologies.

Based in South Florida, we were founded in 1997, and have over 1,000 clients throughout the United States and internationally. WhiteOwl is the technology affiliate of MBAF, a top-40 CPA and consulting firm.

Position Summary

Our PaperSave professional services organization delivers document management and workflow solutions, based on our PaperSave product, to small and medium sized North American and international businesses and foundations. These solutions are delivered as stand-alone applications or are tightly integrated with commercially available ERP and financial systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated, recent college graduate to be a technical consultant in our professional services organization based in our corporate headquarters in Coral Gables, FL. We ask that you bring your technical skills and a desire to learn to our company. In return, we will provide you the opportunity to grow your technical skills and business knowledge helping clients make their operations more efficient and effective.


Because the PaperSave product is both a broad and deep enterprise technology platform, the PaperSave technical consultant has a significant role during implementations. Adding to the challenge is that, while they are very similar, the PaperSave product can be installed on premise to the client or as a SaaS product in WhiteOwl’s cloud environment.

The following are the responsibilities of the position:

  • Install the PaperSave product and application for on premise clients
  • Design, develop, and test moderate to complex configurations and customizations using JavaScript and SQL
  • Document the relevant portion of the client implementation
  • Catalogue best practices to share with colleagues
  • Provide support to triage and resolve configuration and customization defects
  • Provide guidance concerning identified product defects
  • Participate in project discussions with clients and colleagues

Qualifications and Requirements

The technical consultant position has both business and technical requirements. The mandatory business requirements are:

  • BA or BS degree (computer science, information management, etc.) from an accredited college or university
  • One plus years of application implementation or software development experience
  • Excellent English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Internet technologies and delivery models including cloud and SaaS

The mandatory technical requirements are:

  • Working knowledge of three of the following: SQL, JavaScript, C#, or similar language, report development tools, and operating systems, data communications, and networking
  • Experience with Internet technologies and delivery models
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Optionally, experience with and knowledge of ERP and financial applications would be very helpful
